Assignment # 2 MIDI ( Musical Instrument Digital Interface )
- MIDI changed the Way I performed in the 80's by allowing me to combined several Synths sounds to " Layer " them in any Combination..Eq) a Roland Synth with a DX7 or a Korg with a Sequential Circuits Synth..If It had MIDI Ins and Outs ..It was accessible... Later I was able to Sync My Atari 1040 St with Fostex B 16 Reel to Reel and My MPC 2000 Drum Machine together with a MIDI Sync Box to Lay Down Synced Music Tracks.. For Us it was the beginning of a Whole New World of possibilities !!! There is always some flaws and knicks to work out , but with the introduction of MIDI 2.0...WoooW !! What's Next ???
